GHANA TO RECEIVE COVID 19 VACCINE BETWEEN MID-FEBRUARY AND EARLY MARCH--KWAKU AGYEMAN MANU
The health minister(designate) Kwaku Agyeman Manu, has said, Ghana is expected to receive its share of the covid 19 vaccine between mid February and early March this year(2021).
He revealed this when he appeared before the vetting committee
in parliament.
According to the minister designate, he cannot give out a particular or specific date to expect the vaccine. However, he can assure Ghanaians that, the vaccine will come between mid February and early March this year.
' I cannot give out any specific date as to when the vaccine will arrive, but we are expecting to receive the vaccine between mid February and early March' he said.
This comes after the Ranking Member of the committee Haruna Iddrisu questioned him of the arrival of the vaccine.
Parliament at the moment has started vetting ministers nominated by the president through its appointments and vetting committee
